Our internship program develops future leaders who possess critical thinking, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills, who want to grow a career with AGRILAND FS.
Your internship experience will include:
  • Paid internship of 8-12 weeks
  • Two-day mid-summer conference
  • Networking with AGRILAND FS employees, management, and fellow interns
  • Presentation luncheon to wrap up your experience

  • On-the-job experience with specific training, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and technology

Where will you go?

In the Field

With a focus on operations, you will work outside with the most advanced equipment, while getting hands-on experience in agriculture, energy, feed, grain, turf, or construction. Your experience could include:
 
  • Custom application of crop nutrient and protection products
  • Crop scouting and real-time data collection, using some of the latest technology
  • Sales and delivery of liquid propane and energy products
  • Maintenance and repair on a variety of equipment
  • Assist with construction of facilities and energy sites
  • Learn key points on inventory control, operation processes, and customer service

Beyond the Field

With a focus on business operations, you will work inside a fast-growing organization, while getting real-life experience in business functions such as marketing, accounting, information technology, and sales. Your experience could include:
 
  • Details behind sales processes, analysis, and market research
  • Information technology – from help desk, to servers, and all points in-between
  • Brainstorm and create marketing content for products and company culture
  • Get insight into real accounting, audits, and bookkeeping operations
  • Ins and outs of product procurement and logistics

“First, I delivered grass seed to a local boutique that just recently built a shop. For my next job, I went to the Humeston Plant to get a mini bulk of Roundup Weather Max.
