If you have anyone on your plan over the age of 18, they will need to set up their own accounts and grant you access to view their claims. This is due to HIPPA.

The portals are very secure, especially with the two-factor authentication.

You can go online or on the app and order a new one. You can also download the card and email or fax it to your provider.

Members can log in or use the UMR app and use the "provider finder" tool. If your provider is not listed you can call the number on the back of your card (800-207-3172) to double check. The providers themselves are responsible for listing that they are in-network with the "provider finder" tool, so remind your clinic that they do not show up.

Before paying a bill, always be sure to log into the UMR site or app and view your claim. You can look at the EOB (Explanation of Benefits). It will break down what you were billed for as well as give you information on any negotiated prices UMR had with the doctor, how much UMR paid and the amount you are responsible for paying. 

Any dependent over the age of 18 will need to create their own Teladoc account. If you have a child under the age of 18, they can use the insurance subscribers (i.e. employee) account.

Any dependent over the age of 13 will need to create their own accounts. There is an option on their account to grant you access to view their medications so that you can help with refilling prescriptions. Anyone under the age of 13 will appear on the insurance subscriber (i.e. employee) account. 

Credit, debit, HSA, or bank accounts are options for payment. OptumRX also offers a payment plan and can accept coupons at home delivery.

Yes, it's part of your plan's pharmacy network.

OptumRX Home Delivery accepts manufacturer coupons, but they can't be added in the mobile app. Members would need to call Home Delivery to add the coupon to their profile so that it can be used on subsequent fills.

Use home delivery for long-term medications. See which of your prescriptions can be filled through home delivery by going online or using the app.

OptumRX uses free, standard shipping through USPS, UPS, and Fedex (Overnight is usually reserved for specialty medications). Specialty medications and controlled drugs must be signed for. 

Long-term medications are those you take on a regular basis.

Medications should arrive within 5 business days after they receive the complete order.

Yes. Before they can ship your first order, you need to set up your account and provide your payment method (credit, debit, or bank account). Using your account, you can go online or use the app any time to place and track orders, check prices, and more. 

OptumRx members can refill prescriptions when they have used 75% of medication at Retail and Retail 90. From the day it was first filled, members can order after 23 days for a 30 day supply, and after 67 days for a 90 day supply. 

OptunRX members can refill prescriptions when they have used 70% of the medication at Home Delivery. From the first day filled, members can order after 63 days at Home Delivery.

Members can also sign up for automatic refills of their Home Delivery medications.
