Community Relations

Connecting with our Communities

At AGRILAND FS, we value giving back to the local communities that we serve. Whether it’s financial support for a project or volunteering in support of local events, we are proud to be involved in the areas where we live and work.

The AGRILAND FS Foundation

Making a lasting impact in our communities

The AGRILAND FS Foundation was established in 2002 as a non-profit organization that is funded by donations from AGRILAND FS, Inc. and individual AGRILAND FS shareholders. The Foundation strives to fund charitable organizations and activities that benefit rural communities in our trade territory, especially requests that support local agriculture, local organizations, and rural community projects.

The Foundation board reviews all funding requests and is made up of five farmer shareholders appointed by the AGRILAND FS Board of Directors and two AGRILAND FS employees.

To make a funding request from The AGRILAND FS Foundation, please complete our online application. If your request is related to an event or has a deadline, please plan ahead and apply early, as requests are only reviewed four times a year by our Foundation board.

FAST STOP Fuel Up & Give Back Program

Our AGRILAND FS-branded FAST STOPs are dedicated to fueling our local communities, and AGRILAND FS is giving back with our Fuel Up & Give Back program. This program donates 3¢ of every gallon of gas and diesel fuel sold at our 18 AGRILAND FS-branded FAST STOPs to our local public community school districts.

About the Program

Volunteering Grows at AGRILAND FS

From our pancake breakfasts at local county fairs to working at local community events, you can see AGRILAND FS employees volunteering their time in support of what matters to our communities.

Albia Fire

Volunteer fire departments are incredibly important to the communities we serve. Our AGRILAND FS team supported all responding fire departments by supplying additional water support service needed to put out a fire in downtown Albia, Iowa, in September of 2025.

Greenfield Tornado

Our AGRILAND FS team rallied around the grill and served over 3,000 meals in two days in support of the Greenfield, Iowa, community, delivering meals around town to feed the community and volunteers following the devastating tornado in May of 2024.

Pancake Breakfast

During county fair season, AGRILAND FS team members fire up the griddles across Iowa to serve breakfast for 4-H and FFA exhibitors, families, and volunteers.

Propane Safety

AGRILAND FS employees volunteer to visit local schools and events to teach students about propane safety.
